Pete Rose Rookies on Pawn Stars...

Did anyone see the episode tonight of Pawn Stars with the 5 Pete Rose rookie cards? At quick glance they looked fake. The dudes that are on the show said they were fake too. If you saw it what were your thoughts?

Was this the '67 Roses or Rose Rookie cards? I recall an episode where a guy tried to sell 5 counterfeit 1967 Rose cards, but wasn't aware of an episode with the '63s. Of course, Rick also said a very questionable signed Gehrig jersey was good just because it had a couple second-rate COAs accompanying it..

Yeah, my bad, they were the '67's. Whoops. Yeah, I saw that episode with the Gehrig auto too.

    Never seen show

But....... wouldnt the Gehrig Jersey be worth far more than the signature?? Who would fake a sig on a 6 fig jersey??

The odds are if the jersey is authentic the signature will be too.

Wonder if its on Youtube image I'll have to look

It was an non-game used college/high school jersey that was signed. It was in a $500 frame and had 3 COAs including a S.T.A.T. and a local sports shop. lol
