The 1895-S is a sleeper coin - and although I think this particular coin
has Altered Surfaces - I'd need the coin in hand to make an accurate
determination.
If you own the coin - crack it out - stick it in a Dansco for a dozen years
and see what it looks like then...

New Barber Purchases
The third image also is muted and fourth shows the luster and incredible detail.
Maybe it's just because I only collect XF and below, but that Barber looks like they used a Sledgehammer for the strike as the details are incredible!
I'd say definitely MS coin on details, but wiped /cleaned on the obverse, no sign of cleaning on the reverse from the images.
