TNA RESULTS

The Texas Numismatic Association show this weekend in Ft Worth was a little disappointing. I got to talk with Dr. James Wiles though. I found the following 2 coins plus a few minor RPM's. The 1883 shield nickle looks like it might be the 3/2 variety. The second coin is definately an 1857 flying eagle cent DDO but it has a lamination and/or damage on the obverse. This coin is FS1-002, Snow 3. What do you all think on the 1883 shield?

Why was it disappointing? Just curious...I did not get the chance to go this weekend...

Wow...I just realized I have not been to a show in in like 6 months or more! Kids are getting older so baseball, tennis, air shows etc. are taking up my time!

That's interesting -- I got there late on Saturday, but the buzz I heard was that sales were good.
