1796 draped bust dollar on ebay in pcgs holder... doesnt look right to me...

maybe its just me and it might just be the pictures, but the coin looks kinda comic like?... can anybody help here?

    It looks similar to a couple I saw on Heritage archives. I looked for the same variety and grade there and they all look about the same to me. I see nothing wrong with it. Looks genuine and in a genuine holder as well.

    Looks real, but also looks like it should be in a genuine holder as well imho.

    I dont know still- the coin may be real but those curls to me look to strong for a 35. it looks to me like it was tooled to get more detail. also- kinda looks a little "corroded" on the obverse
    edited- it also appears very clean. I guess it just wont get a bid from me...

    I agree that the details are strong for the grade, but the
    hen pecks always bother me and probably pulled the grade back a bit.
    I also think it is a lousy pic and the coin might look better in hand.
    Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
