Storage of Coins

Hello...not sure if this is the correct location but I was not really able to find one that pertains to this. I am running out of space in my primary storage area for my coins. I have heard (read) on the net that you can wrap in paper then wrap in aluminum foil, then put in a zip lock bag for storage. Anyone have suggestions to this? PM would be fine so not to clog up the main board. I am kind of new at collecting coins so please forgive me if this is niave.

thanks

  • Never put your coins in a plastic storage bag. Even if the coins are in a holder you will end up with PVC damage from the plastic.

If you coins are holdered, I recommended Intercept Shield protection.

If the coins arent holdered, go to you local coin shop and buy a supply of the plastic coin holders.

If you need to get to know someone that sells the above products at a fair price, EMAIL
me at allenusnavy@hotmail.com and I will get you hooked up.

This is absolutely wrong. The OP specifically mentioned Ziplock bags and PVC is not a component of foodgrade bags.
