Long Beach Show June 2-5: What chat board dealers will be there? Please post here! List in 1st Po

claychaserclaychaser Posts: 4,406 ✭✭✭✭
I have trouble associated many of the dealer posters here with their exhibitor name as shown on the program.

It would be be helpful for us forum pests to have a single thread where the dealers can post their exhibitor name and table number so we can meet them in person and use the secret forum "Circle of Trust" handshake image.

So, please post away!

And, any of us non-table holding forumites who will be attending, please check as well.

Dealers with tables responding in table number order:

Victory Bullion.com, Table 435, MrOrganic

Julian Leidman, Table 520, Julian (good to have to you back!)

    I'll be there, but not set up in all likelihood. I'm usually not too hard to find on a bourse floor, however.

    I'll also be at the Goldberg's auction of the Holmes Middle Dates etc representing clients.

    See you West Coasters there!
  • I will there for lot viewing and to search for coins on my want list; hopefully I'll be able to buy a few really cool coins. I gave up my Long Beach table several shows back after having had taken a table at all of the LB coin shows since 1974 (when it was still being held in in the round arena); the shows had steadily grown more disappointing from a business perspective, especially in regard to buying. Well, I'm going to put on my optimistic hat and see what I can do. At the very least I'll see some old friends, hang out with bestclsr1 and have lunch at Famous Dave's...

    I'm pretty excited about seeing these coins from the Cardinal Collection... saw this posted on the Long Beach Expo website and this beats out the Ship of Gold from the last show from my perspective:

    Superb Early Copper Collection Exhibit Highlights June 2010 Long Beach Expo

    (Long Beach, CA) - The Cardinal Type Collection of Early Copper, a multi-million dollar display of over two dozen high-grade early American copper pieces including items from an all-time finest PCGS Set Registry collection, will be exhibited at the Long Beach Coin, Stamp & Collectibles Expo, June 3 - 5, 2010. The show will be held in the Long Beach, California Convention Center, 100 S. Pine Ave.

    "This special exhibit is a superb collection of historic and rare private coinage from 1787 to 1792 and early items from the Philadelphia Mint from 1793 up to 1852. The collection was assembled by Martin Logies and will be exhibited courtesy of Bowers & Merena Auctions," said Ronald J. Gillio, Expo General Chairman.

    Highlights of the exhibit include the following coins that were part of the 2009 PCGS Best of Registry winner for Large Cents Basic Set:

    1793 Chain AMERICA S-2 variety formerly in the Beckwith, Collins and Naftzger Collections and graded PCGS MS65BN;

    1793 Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge formerly in the Naftzger Collection, PCGS MS69BN;

    1794 Head of 1793 formerly in the Garrett Collection, PCGS MS64 BN;

    and 1803 No Stems S-243, PCGS MS66RB, formerly in the Helfenstein and Naftzger Collections.

    During the three-day Long Beach Expo more than 1,000 dealers will be buying and selling rare coins, paper money, stamps, postcards, historic documents, antiques, estate jewelry and other collectibles. Some dealers will provide free, informal appraisals for visitors.

    A free gold coin door prize will be awarded each day to a lucky, registered visitor, and a children's treasure hunt will be held on Saturday, June 5. A half dozen educational programs and collectors' clubs meetings will be conducted during the show and will be open to the public.

    Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, Texas (www.HA.com), the world's largest collectibles auction house and the official auctioneer of the Long Beach Expo, will hold a public auction of U.S. coins in conjunction with the show.

    The public hours are Thursday and Friday, June 3 and 4, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    General admission is $6 (good for all three days); $4 for members of any coin or stamp club who display a valid membership card; and $3 for seniors 65 and older. Free admission for children ages seven and younger. Discount coupons are available online at www.LongBeachExpo.com.

    For additional information, call Expos Unlimited at (805) 962-9939 or the Long Beach Convention Center during the show dates at (562) 436-3636.

    The Long Beach Expo is a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDA: CLCT).

    Chris, it's about time you came down south for a good show! I believe the usual meeting spot is PCGS table (right inside the door and to the left against the front wall) around noon each day.
