Junk silver, melt value calculator?? Any good websites?

I know someone has posted a silver value calculator here before. Can someone kindly repost this info of suggest a site that they use to calculate 90% and 40% silver coins melt value?? Thanks a bunch!!

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    that is a great website but dont expect to get near what is stated for 40% Kennedy Half dollars or Wartime nickels (my experience)


    wartime nicks are listed at $1.07 (try getting that!)

    Agreed - those two coins don't really bring full melt. But I have seen people paying 80c each for war nickels! That's still 20% less than melt, but if I remember correctly they used to sell for a lot less than 20% back of melt.
