    I have had good luck contacting folks via the PCGS Registry Set boards, the ones with the little e-mail icons next to their sets agree to accept e-mails from other collectors. I managed to get to #3 on the Complete Kennedys this way, and met some really, really nice folks along the way as well. Good luck!
