VCP help 1935 National Chicle Nagurski PSA 5

I would appreciate some help. I am not sure I can pull the trigger, but I just started this set, and you do not see many of these above PSA 2.

    Captain,
    While I'm no expert on the pricing of Chicle's....those prices are very old. ---This is the big gray area when it comes to pricing----Not many examples sold and none recently. I wonder how much the pop has grown since 2007.

    It is a legendary card. Good Luck.

    Thanks guys. I need this for the 1935 National Chicle set and the top 250 cards in the hobby. Sooner or later I will have to bite the bullet, but that is a lot of money.

    But it looks like they're only getting 96% of the card. Those narrow borders really concern me... Tightest I've seen on that card.

    Yep, alot of slop around the edges of that holder, new flip too. I wonder if that kept some people away... and the price down

    Other than that, nice looking 5, someone landed a monster of a card at a great price

    "The Holy Grail Of Football Cards" in mid-grade for under $6K appears a terrific deal, the dirty bottom border notwithstanding.

    There is a vertical line through the card, but it also appears superimposed over the holder image so it should be apparent that the line is from the scanner, not on the card. Maybe a bidder or two was scared off thinking the line was through the card?

    This was a rare opportunity to nag a mid-grade Nagurski open auction-style on eBay. Though many may feel it is not a high end '5'...agreed, someone snagged a deal.
