Anyone ever get a nasty note from paypal from using overuse of gift paypal?

I am in the process of liquidating a lot of cards. So far I have not had to go to ebay. I have sold them through these forums and the PSA registry. A few paid by check/MO but primarily I was receiving using gift paypal.

Anyway I get a note today from the fine folks at paypal to cease and desist using gift. I guess I should have figured that this was too good to be true for a long term method.

Have your buyers try "payment owed". Same thing when funding through a PP balance, and technically correct, they owe you $$ (because they are buying cards).

    huh. whatta bummer.

guess you can't be the Brett Favre of PayPal anymore since they won't let you pad your stats. image
  • Did you know that Buyers that purchase something from you off ebay (meaning Not On ebay) and send it as goods payment (not gift) can not use the NOT as discribed Dispute since it was not a purchase made ON EBAY! only found this out recently only thing a buyer can dispute is that the item did not arrive!
