do the announcers/commentators always make dozens of totally inane comments every game? Even when they have former players, do they always make comments one would expect of someone watching their first baseball game ever? It is painful to listen to these idiots. My mute button is going to be used now...

It also seems they've done away with instant replays. Just as an example, AROD just hit a bome run, tying Frank Robinson on the all-time list. It was followed by a visit to the mound by the Boston pitching coach. At no time during that whole exchange, did they show a replay! All they did was show the pitcher staring off into space

Morgan was a great player, but really really sucks as an announcer -- makes the stupidest comments over and over.
Now Jerry Remy was not a HOF 2nd baseman, but he is a HOF broadcaster compared to Morgan.
There's a reason for that.
<< <i>You guys are a bunch of hatters. >>
<< <i>I've always despised Miller.... He IS a Yankee lover. I vividly remember the 2006 ALDS and it seemed like he was about to jump out of his seat and cheer every time the Yanks got a hit. Of course everyone ESPN lives to dump on Detroit..... i know, WAAAAAA!! >>
After the Boston Massacre in the Summer of 2006, nothing made me happier than to see the Tigers soundly beat the Yankees in the 2006 ALDS.
For those of you who lilsten to Chip Caray, you deserve the noise! He is beyond woeful and akin to listening to someone streak a piece of chalk across a chalkboard. I've lived in Atlanta over 20 years and easily remember the days of "Chief-nok-a-homa"...actually turned down free tix to last night's game. Wouldn't walk across the street to meet this dismal group they call a team. BTW, isn't it time for Chipper Jones to have another stint on the DL from a sore quad or something?
Not sure what a "hatter is, but I don't think I'm one.
