    I'm very happy for the kid. Good for him on standing up for what he felt was right regarding ARod, and good for him for staying focused during this game.

    I was very happy for him since he did it on Mother's Day. As we know by now, MLB backs Breast Cancer on this day and Braden's mom died of Cancer when he was 15. This may have been why he was so emotional with his grandmother on the field after the game.

    Is it just me or does every single rays batter always seem to take the first pitch no matter what.

    They weren't doing this at the start of the season.

    The last few games I have been seeing every batter take the first pitch with absolutely no intention of swining what so ever. Is Joe Madden trying to micromanage his team suddenly?

    I agree that they were looking at a lot of called strikes.

    At the end of the day it is a loss. Only thing that matters now is how they come out and play tomorrow with Garza on the mound.
