<< <i>Frosty444 sounded familiar, so I checked my auction records and my blocked bidder list. Turns out that I have had a couple of dealings with him that went smooth as silk. I didn't want to stir the pot up here either, but I bought 3 Raw VF Barber Halves from the same seller, all were nice original coins that were as nice in hand as they were in the images, and when sent in, all graded VF at PCGS.

YA, I got it! No Negitive feedbacks. It was my first negative feedback ever given and the first time i had a problem. I thought that was what i should do and i did it. I was wrong apparently. Thanks to all for your input. I was just trying to make it clear i got a coin i was not happy with. I can promise you this, the seller made me pay for it. I would have glady taken the feedback back if, but he went overboard in my oppinion and got pretty nasty. Regardless if someone sent the coin back to me i would have not stolen the buyers money. Guys a jerk!

I have bought from frosty444 several times, although a couple of years ago and he is listed as a no problem seller in my records. I had no issues with him that ring a bell. Sorry that you did, but agree with most that you handled it very poorly.

"It was my first negative feedback ever given and the first time i had a problem."

True your first neg given that has stuck but not the first problem. Why did you not neg these other sellers you left feedback for?

glasses not in excellent condition, one had a chip that was not described.

coin was purchased under the impression it was a quarter. sending the coin back

Nice, however the coin had a scratch on it that was failed to be mentioned. Seller: empirecoinco.81 ( 4922) Dec-08-08 22:05

No scratch when it left the shop.

Opps....not your first neg left. Here is one that got withdrawn

Not worth the amount i paid in my oppinion, nice coin cases thats about it. Seller: numismaticbureau ( 128602) Jan-10-06 13:01

Yep, I thought his images hid the truth and he failed to mention it's true condition. I was upset about buying the coin and having to waste my time and money. I left him a partial negative feedback. What a huge sin! It is feedback am I wrong? Had he stole my money before i left the feedback he would have got worse feed back. Now that he has stolen my money i should leave a little more feedback!

<< <i>If this was done, wouldn't the OP be committing a postal crime by sending an empty package to the seller with the intention of deceiving Ebay. >>

I think the idea here is that eBay sellers are presumed to be guilty of *something* just as a matter of course, even if nobody is quite sure what it might be.

This remark is totally uncalled for...if you did not want the opinions of your actions, then you should have not asked for them by starting this thread. The members here are the best sleuths I've ever seen...if anything is to be uncovered, it will be here.

I have to agree with the majority here that the e-Bay seller is not all that BAD, the buyer needs to learn how a transaction is completed with respect to everyone's opinion.

    You "thought"?
    I disagree.

you "left him a partial negative feedback"?
There is NO such thing as "partial" negative feedback. It is NEGATIVE when you leave it on the ebay system. As noted before, you aren't new to the ebay system, so you purposely left negative because your panties were all in a bunch.

"It is feedback" are you wrong?
Yep....for using ebay, you screwed up multiple ways. For using the forum, you showed your colors quite clearly. I've already put you on my blocked list. Doubt I would ever have something you would go after, but after how you handle things, and make excuses for them, I prefer not to worry.

"now that he has stolen" your money?
Invite him to the forum to give his side of it.....I see no proof he has "stolen" your money. Here's what you said "He told me if he got the coin he would not except it and cause me problems".
So, can you prove he got the coin? He said IF he got the coin, he would not ACCEPT it (I corrected your spelling for you). So, has it been refused? When did you return it?

Your story has more holes in it than swiss cheese. You are making excuse after excuse for your actions. Own up to it, try apologizing to him, and understand what you are buying and how to interact with other people. That would likely help you loads moving forward.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    BaseballAbs,

You picked the wrong forum to post this PSA. This place is "loaded" with EBay sellers who have forgotten any concept of right and wrong. The attitude here is "the customer is ALWAYS wrong". You admitted your mistakes in dealings with this seller and simply wanted to share that in the end this guy stole money from you. Some here have even alluded that he was justified to do so because you quick-triggered a neg and failed to add delivery confirmation on the return. He's on my block list as well as most of the posters here who have crucified you.

The Bay is overwhelmed with poor sellers and equally poor buyers. By your responses to the crucifixion you appear to have learned a great deal from this and that may be your only satisfaction here.

I disagree with this statement. I don't have anything to do with ebay, but reading this forum in the past, I've found that the truth is usually flushed out by the end of the thread. There are many buyers and sellers here that find ebay a very serious way of "coin commerce".

Agree. If he thinks so little of the forum members here, why is he posting here. Also, how do we know that Frosty444 ever got the coin back?

Frankly, the OP was treated pretty gently for an internet forum where frankly speaking is a way of life.

Isn't it about time for the OP to revise the title of this thread? --Jerry

edit: BTW, if the OP had done a search on Frosty444 here on the forum he would have seen that the opinion of that seller isn't all positive and I believe russ said that "he photographs copper in the best available light" or something like that. But all the other forum members who have dealt with him did it without all these problems and that is why the OP got so much "advice". I recognized the name when the thread first popped up and my immediate impression was that the forum was not positive on Frosty. Here is the thread..

I agree no proof whatsoever that the seller stole anything. He may of refused it of not even received it.
