So how do the DSR's stay at 5 if a buyer is not happy with the deal? Seems very odd that a buyer that is unhappy would give you strong DSR's. I think I would bring this to Ebays attention.

That fool is going on my list. Blames you for the mints quality and he got them for 51¢'s over face means you lost all the way around.

Ken, it is quite possible that since he has hundreds of transactions, that this may be one of only a few transactions where he may have gotten less than 5 stars. However, since all are averaged together, it will take more than one to knock it from a 5.

How in the world can someone complain when they're spending 0.51 over face value? image

Oftentimes it's the smallest transactions that create the largest headaches.

That's been my experience. You'd think people would be happy to find sellers willing to list inexpensive items, but far too many of the bidders attracted to those listings make it hardly worth the while.

Blocked. You really lost big time on this one since each of those holders are whay, a buck or two apiece?

BTW, if I were you, I'd remove the comments about your feedback which appear in your auctions because to me, it looks like a target.

For an 8$ item why not just offer retruns at the buyers cost for shipping? Doesnt seem worth not taking a return at the cost of a neg feedback. Chances are if he had to pay 4$ to ship them back hed just keep his outh shut.

Reasonable buyers would automatically make that inquiry regardless of the what the auction states.

This is obviously an "unreasonable" buyer since no follow up email was generated.

Additionally, I expect that this "buyer" would have wanted Eric to pay for the return as well.

There are just some buyers out there that are not worth the trouble because you will NEVER, EVER please them.

  • At first I had a hard time understanding what was at auction. Not much description, 4 coins?, 7? well it does say 8 in the title...

But it is absolutely incredible that anybody could possibly complain about actually receiving $8 at far less than your cost! Incredible. And they even gave out a negative! Un-ba-leave-a-bull!

I guess that free shipping idea that eBay pushes on us can really backfire! I charge a minimal shipping fee, and allow returns. If the stupid nutcase wins one of my auctions he can return the coins and realize it cost him $2-$3 to do so.

I just can't get over it. I am going to sign off of this forum for a moment while I add that guy to my blocked bidder list...
  • Hey, I checked out your bidder's feedback list and recognize many names including LindeDad.
