As I recall, Walter Breen's statements about the covering up of Liberty's bare breast on the Type-1 SLQ being a result of government prudishness were debunked long ago. How strange that the myth has become reality in Virginia, where the A.G. wants to put a corset on the Goddess Virtus, who for the last 200 years or so has worn an off the shoulder toga. The A.G. apparently finds the tiny image on the lapel pins worn by some govt. workers... upsetting!
Apparently, this stroke of genius has been put on hold, for now, since there are bigger things going on in the Commonwealth right now, like the budget deficit.
