Cards with Upside-down backs >>>>>> Is this a corrected error?

Hi guys,
I recently bought a 1956 Topps #1 William Harridge SGC 80 I am very pleased with the card (and even more pleased by the price) and I just noticed that the back is upside-down. Is this normal for this set? This is the first time I noticed an upside down back for a Topps card (I know there are plenty of pre-war cards with this error). I was just wondering, are there any regular issue Topps cards with upside down backs? and is this normal for this card or is this an error?

Mine is upside down also I had to turn the PSA holder upside down to scan it straight. I'm not sure if any of the other cards from this set are upside down also.

Yeah, I have a feeling they're all that way. This is a horizontal set. I'm sure the print setters weren't thinking about that for the whole 2 cards that aren't.

Thanks for the reply! I guess you are right BunchOBull the printers probably weren't thinking when they printed the set. I wonder if they are all this way? Mine is a White back and the other is a Gray back so I guess it doesn't matter. Cool thing to look into!

I also have that card in a psa 7 and it is upside down too.

Nice card Donato...love the centering. Are you working on the 56 set?

beckett did something like that to their cover this month, thought it was weird also,,bj
