I did a check on his competed listing and his last four ended at .99 with no bids,
However the 37 three legger wasn't in them

So. He ended them early. I'll do it myself under certain circumstances.

It was the first thing I thought of. I was going to say something smart about a fingerprint.

3-Legger has been resurrected. Oh fun.

That thing has no chance getting what he put into it as it sits. Send it in, hope for an AU grade and take a few lumps when it might bring in $1,300. IMO

    I'll be danged!

He just cancelled all bids and re-listed it ............... again!

That surely is not the way to make money in the coin business Mr. BnB (since we know you're reading the boards).

You gotta though it up for auction and just take your chances like the rest of the sellers out their bud! This listing, cancelling and relisting is not going to increase the coins market. And don;t think for one second that you'll be able to list this on eBay without one (if not more) of the sleuths that populate this forum not noticing it.

Keep it up, and you'll end up selling it for way less than what you paid.

Selling this coin with a mostly accurate description of it's grading history is great and all, but what would be most fair to the prospective bidders on this coin would be to take a current photo so that the bidders can see what the coin looks like after its fingerprint removal.

    As would I.

Perhaps there is a reason a current photograph doesn't exist?

His description is actually very upfront, especially for EBay................What is troubling is that we all know he owns a camera and knows how to take pictures. Yet, he has the old holdered pre conserved photo in the listing. It should be much easier to take a picture of this coin in the raw. Yes, add me to the list of curious to see how the removing of the fingerprint worked out. At least BNB is consistant. He asks for advise, then ignores it and the saga continues. MJ

Why is he refusing to show new pics?

Guy is very odd. Looking at his currency trading videos I'd be wary of his intentions.

From 7 minutes on the sales pitch is quite touching:

Once again he ends an auction early and relists it, because it does not sell for what he wants. He does this too many times. I've tried reporting it, but I wish someone else would help by reporting it, too.

How old is this dude? Like 20 or something? He seems a bit immature and would not be a coin dealer I would want to deal with at all. He does not carry himself well and does not appear to know how to handle conflict in a professional manner.

What is the big deal with this COin anyway? Why doesnt he grade it and let it run in an auction? I dont get that part, is there something other than the finger print that was wrong with it?

Everyone is just fueling his ego once again by posting his videos, and poking fun, and its just the same thing all over again that finally died down a few weeks ago. These posts are providing him the attention he needs and apparently thrives on. I have no problem bringing attention to the bewildered 3 legger auctions, as it is a coin I would stay away from no matter the price, but other than that, just take a look everyonce in a while at the "WHO'S ON" section and BNB Analytics is often logged in. Sitting there with glee over the attention he is getting for being a shock jock freak show on You Tube. Whole thing in my opinion is so old news and just needs to die.

Try logging on to the userid.

I expect that "being logged on" is merely a flag in some database that gets set once you logon and gets un-set when you logoff. However, if they remove his posting privileges while he's logged on then that flag does not get unset until he actually log's off. Since he can't logon then he can't logoff.

If and when they reboot the system for maintenance, that flag should get updated.

Also remember that userids who lose their posting privileges do not get deleted, they just get neutered! image

If he did get a job at Liberty Coin, I guess he actually listened to some of the things that he was told. Liberty Coin is a top notch place and he could learn some good things from the people there. I even think the owner is an ex PCGS grader. Maybe Don W. can confirm this for us.

Well, like I said last night I would go up to Liberty Coin to see if he was working there. I was actually hoping he would be buzzing me thru the door but no such luck. I looked around at their inventory for a little while as I don't get much of chance to make my way over there, I did pick out three large cents though(1809,1847&1850). Anyway, as I went to pay I politely asked if he worked here and I got the.....
Well, I was trying to think how to describe the event on the way home and all I could come up with was like that Twilight Zone where the guy had that stop watch that stopped the world. So the guy behind the counter looked up and to my surprise he said yes he did but not for long. I was a bit disappointed as I was hoping to get that autograph that you guys wanted me to get, oh well!
