What an awesome set to look at...Lots of top of the line WOW
commems here..I easily recognize some of my old friends in this
set as well as several from notable sets of the past decade..Sure worth
a look..and hey Mr. San Diego..what do i gotta do to get that Gettysburg,
Lexington and Pan Pac back...not very easy to find those in 68 again!!..
I could go on and on..but lets just start with those 3 for now..

"Look up, old boy, and see what you get." -William Bonney.
A number of the classic silver commemorative issues were not produced fully struck. To my knowledge, a full strike on an issue that never appears fully struck, has never been a requirement for an MS68 grade.

I'd like to know that, too? I have seen the coins in person and none of them look even remotely questionable to me. And ditto for in the images, for that matter.
As good as these coins look in the images, they look incredible in hand. As just one example, when I first saw the Lexington many years ago, it had not yet been graded. My immediate reaction was that it was easily the finest and best looking example I had ever seen, and that I thought it should grade MS68. And I rarely make such sweeping comments.
In case I get any more private messages, I might not be able to reply for several days, due to possibly not being able to get on the internet again until that time. My apologies.

I have to admit that the Antietam (especially this one - the rev toning looks off), BTW, Roanoke, and Wisconsin all look a bit too...irridescent. Perhaps they are AT, perhaps they are not. It certainly could just be the photos. I will defer to Mark's judgement if he has seen these in hand. AT or NT either way, the toning on those issues does not appeal to me, although I'll admit that a certain amount of jealousy and envy may be clouding my perception...
The rest of the set is pure eye candy! The owner of this set outdid himself.

Funny those are the best toners in the set. No they are not AT, they are toned the best that tab toning can produce.(period) Extremely rare to find with just the 100% rainbow toned, never mind the ms68 grades Creme de la creme
