Can you post better scans here? Those are really lo res scans on eBay.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • I am working on this.

Please don't be offended but I think you're making a mistake selling that on ebay by yourself. Your feedback is good but nothing shows in the last 6 years, so it kind of looks like it could be a hijacked account.

It might be worth your time and money to talk to Steve at BBCE or one of the other consignment sellers. They have a following, are trusted, and know what they're doing.

In your auction you mention insurance "if the buyer prefers". You need to insure it to protect yourself, and it's critical that you use signature confirmation. If you don't use SC, you're giving the card away free. Paypal rules have changed to protect buyers and cripple sellers.

Either way good luck with your auction

  • Thank you for feedback and advice. Do you have Steve's contact information. I have been out of the hobby buying and selling for about 5 or 6 years.

If you want crazy money for a nice card, consign through PreWar Card Collector. They're prices amaze me. I try to win stuff for under VCP and 90% of their stuff goes way over VCP. I don't get it, they must have a heck of a following. Steve Hart is good too although he is best known for unopened material. He does have a good trustworty name though.

I second the recommendation for Pre-war card collector (Brent Huigens). Here's a link to his website:
