Oh Myyyy~~~1837 Feuchtwanger 3 Cent New York ***newP*** Oh Myyyy~~~~

Oh Myyyyy~~~~ I found a series more obscure than Gold Dollars
And from what I gather....these three cent pieces are quite scarce. Still learning as Im going, would love to hear comments from others on this coin. Yes she is holeypluggy but somehow on this I can accept that. The soft metal on these wore very quickly and this piece, though holed and plugged, has exceptional strike and remaining detail.
These are 25 mm in diameter, and have a reeded edge.

Earlier this morning, I couldnt resist the overall look of this 1837 Feuchtwanger One Cent. Someone started to bore a hole...and then decided Not to...but aside from that the piece is full of detail. Love it!

And in one day Im 50% done with the entire Feuchtwanger Series, and also learned how to spell that funny name!

Your 3 cent was one of the duplicates in Maryland early copper dealer Rick Gross's set of Hard Times Tokens auctioned off by Stack's last fall at the Philly Whitman show.
