My short and sweet CSNS show report

1. It seemed a bit slow to me...granted I was only there on Saturday, maybe it was busier on Friday
2. I didn't see too many Secure Plus coins...I did submit two of my own for SP service, so we'll see how those turn out image
3. Gold and silver were everywhere
4. I didn't buy anything at the show. I guess when you're looking for eye appealing XF/AU Bust Quarters, you don't find them too often image Now, if you want scrubbed, lifeless pieces in or out of major TPG holders, you'll find plenty...
5. I learned the downside of Internet coin dealers: I'd seen basically half of all the coins there...kinda sucked the fun out of it. It was nice to stop at Dick Osburn's table and see his coins in person though. I also learned he's hired someone to photograph many of his coins for his site. They should be up in a few months I believe.

So, the show was worth the drive up from Chicago if for no other reason than to see some coins in person and save money on shipping coins to PCGS.

If Dick starts posting pics on his website, I will certainly place more orders with him. I am happy with the coins I got from him in the past, but ordered only coins that he said looked fabulous (because there were no pics).

I agree, Dick having some pictures of his coins could be nothing but good. It just makes me wonder if dealers are having a hard time selling(retail). Legend talking about dreck and other dealers starting to add pictuers to their site too.

Yep, it would be great if Dick Osburn's site had pictures...unfortunately, I didn't love the Bust Quarters he had in stock, but it was nice seeing them in person image
