What would be the aproximate value of a 1940 Un Peso in BU Uncirculated? I don't have resources to a foreign coin price guide? Thanks.

    Yes, it's a Mexico 1 Peso 1940 Uncirculated? I will check e-bay, but I thought maybe someone had a current foreign coin price list. Thanks

    Generally speaking, unless its slabbed in an ultra-high grade like MS67, all Mexican pesos from the 40's (and 30's for that matter) with the exception of the 1949 are worth <$20-$25 depending on silver. The prices start climbing when you get back into the 20's and before.

    The value will depend on how you sell it. If you list it on eBay, $8-10 is probably about average for what you can expect. If you sell it to your local coin dealer, you'll almost certainly get no more than current melt value.
