Interesting Cent Lamination

hyf88hyf88 Posts: 294 ✭✭✭
Came across this 1974 cent in a bank roll tonight. Obverse looked normal, reverse was pretty amazing. Looks like the lamination peeled off, but somehow stayed attached to the coin. There also seems to be a struck-through area on "one cent". Bummer this one seems to have been run over once or twice, could be what caused the lamination to separate. Just hard to believe it stayed in the roll intact.

Too bad it got run over, it's a neat lamination.

The area on one cent is also another lamination.
