Why would Anacs net grade a minting error?

    Maybe it has hairlines form an old cleaning? They didn't net grade it for the strike thru...

    I believe that was an error on their part. They do not (and never did) net grade for a minting error. They should fix that and regrade it for free, but of course they are a new company now so they probably will not.

    They did net grade for a few years on error gold.

    My favorite NET AU 50 Graded... 1901-O $10 ANACS AU Details "Obverse Laminations".
