A surprise gift in my mailbox from Collectors Universe - Longacre eat your heart out!

A little off topic, but I own some stock, and while I get all the SEC reports and Annual Report, a real suprise showed up today in a box box. They sent me this really beautiful book, "Collecting Sports Legends", a 375 page coffee table sized hardcover abouts sports collectables. I was actually interested in the old "cigarette pack" baseball cards, and this book should be an intersting read.

Longacre - eat your heart out if you did not get a copy! I'd be happy to lend it to your when I am done reading it. image (My post to make it fit into this forum!).

Longacre has sent the private jet directly to Long Beach to pick up his copy--personally from David Hall and Don Willis. Claychaser, eat YOUR heart out.

heads will roll for this oversight

of course Longacre, did you consider that perhaps Willis, Hall, et al. consider the collecting of sports memorabilia a bit too gauche for your taste?

Are you really going to dial it yourself....

    Oh noooo...

    Oh the humanity....
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
  • If you will go to the Sports Cards and Memorabilia Forum and look at the thread "Current Robert Edwards Auctions" there are a lot of old baseball cards, tobacco and others shown.
