I got this email less than 3 hours after the close of an auction:

"I'm very sorry but I didn't notice that the coins are cleaned. Would you please cancel the deal?
My apologies."

The item description: "A nice set in an attractive, older case. The coins have been cleaned, and hairlines show that fact."

I had been riding such a good streak of not dealing with people like this, and now the counter has to be reset. It's like the ticker at a factory showing days without an injury. Has anyone else dealt with a literary master recently so I don't feel so alone?
