Steve Dalkowski - 1963 TOPPS # 496 ROOKIE STARS

Anyone know the whereabouts of the two PSA 9-graded cards? PSA 8's pop up ona semi-regular basis and are apparently increasing in value ($140 & up recently). Wondering what a 9 would fetch (or how much I would be willing to pay for one).

Besides the 2.....The other 25+ 1963T#496 PSA9-10's are ungraded in oldschool 1963 Topps sets (most are in plastic pages in binders), just like all the other Topps commons.
I knew a guy who religiously upgraded cards in his 1952-70 Topps sets..... he did this weekly, and checking off his list of upgrades was his main goal at every show he attended. He concentrated on centered and pack fresh cards. Im sure he was one of thousands doing this in the 1980s. I mention him because he's in his 70's and still has the cards with many dups, and has no computer.
One day they will fall into hands that get them graded.
Bottom line... There are more than 2

Doing it for the love, not the invenstment -- a real collector. That said, if he's got duplicates of 9's and 10's, I'm surprised no one's snail-mailed him to see if he would be willing to part with one or two.
Thanks for your post, by the way.
