    I'd have to vote for "fake". The yellowish colour, "airbrushed" tarnish, a filed-down reverse rim and and mushy details all combine to create that impression for me.

    This example is a cast copy, note the weakness around the dragon's face and some of the obverse lettering as well as in the center of the reverse.
