EAC 2010 was held at Doubletree Annapolis

Annapolis quite a nice place (good restaurants and many sightseeing opportunities) and the hotel was quite nice as well except that the bourse was a bit small.

Wed- left Ohio for Annapolis and finished the 495 miles about 3 PM (left 6AM). Nice drive except for fairly heavy rain Hagerstown to just past Frederick. Got to hotel and rooms not ready but time to talk with early arrivals. Hit dinner early at O'leary's and had nice seafood dinner (got the crab cakes out of the way).

Thurs - up early to walk, breakfast (I am Gold Hilton so got a freebies for the 12.95 buffet), then hit Doug Bird and Steve Carr seminar on grading and counterfeits - quite informative as usual. After that setup exhibit on 1816's, checked the bourse early to try to get a battle plan together. Thurs PM off to another seafood place. Skipped the reception but then went to the happenings - some monster copper.

Friday - Got in early (due to being an exhibitor) and picked a couple coins from Reynolds and then a terminal die state 1816 for my exhibit from Craig Hamling. The forums started at 10 AM and hit several thru the day - as usual quite informative. Friday night was dinner with Dave Bowers then his talk on copper collecting.

Saturday - up early again then back to the bourse and finally deciding to by a LDS '16 N9 from Bird, again for the exhibit then to more forums. Took some time with the wife for a libation in the bar as she was touristed out and the weekenders had descended on Annapolis. Had dinner in hotel and then off to auction. I did not buy anything as blew away on the three of four thati was interested in bidding on.

Sunday - left after annual meeting for Bedford Springs Resort
