1865 Luxembourg 10 Centimes

Photographed this yesterday for a friend of mine
I wanted to share with the board.
He gave me permission to do so this afternoon.
Since you all show such cool old coins that I have been enjoying lately.
I do not have very many foreign coins in my collection
yet, but I have slowly been adding to them .

Love the type. I've got one, too.

That picture looks great- the wood background complements the coin perfectly.

Very nice example of it! image

Y'know, that coin is the same size as the French 10c, British penny, Greek 10 lepta, and many, many more. Since you're just getting your feet wet with the darkside, a neat, affordable and relatively easy set would be to go for as many of those penny-sized coins as you can. It's something I've been working on myself with a low priority. Once you get a bag full of 'em it's pretty impressive how hefty these coins are image

I have a sloppy, partial checklist for penny-sized coins in my wantlist, see link below if you want to use it for yourself image
