Nice U.S. Treasury Award Medal

Probably awarded for selling war bonds.
Struck in silver; first one I've ever seen.

Anybody care to take a wag as to value?
History? Any info on it? Or is my
assessment correct?

I don't know much about it, but here is a link to one that was on eBay...Yours shows a name on the back, but the one on eBay has no name...

Must have been carried as a pocket piece, seems like quite a bit of wear for a medal. Nice though.
