    USPS Express Mail International.

If you get other recommendations, say "thank you," but
    ONLY use EMI.

Yup, but it will cost ya, so hopefully the sale is worth it.

    Correct.
and do not sent without it. Keep in mind it could be expensive. I shipped a $1000 card and it cost nearly $50 with insurance.

Paypal will take an EXTRA 1 % out also for an international transaction

  • I agree about EMI although it certainly depends on the value of the card. For anything below $500, I prefer USPS Global Priority and anything below $200 I'm happy with USPS 1st Class International. I've bought over 1000 cards in the last 3 years and never had an issue with USPS. I've stuck with known sellers for the most part but living in Australia hasn't been too big a problem from a shipping perspective. Not the same story for customs and the exchange rate.

I do empathize with the ebay sellers -- I've heard some crazy stories about dodgy buyers playing games with shipping and then making Paypal or credit card claims. It's one of the reasons I stick to reputable sellers.
