My PCGS coins arrived home today! Pics Included...

I'm always so happy when these get mailed back... after a month of waiting & wondering it's fun to re-discover
what I sent off and try and determine if I can understand the assigned grades a bit better.
I'm happy with most of the results, except for this 1859 Seated Half.
There must be some hairlines on there somewhere.

The CC morgan I was expecting VG-8 so I'm happy with VG-10.

I would hgave liked XF-45 on the 76-S Trade dollar, but it is a bit dark with luster underneath.

This one I cracked from an old anacs AU55 slab. It has some die polish lines over PL fields
so I wasn't sure if this one would grade or not.

This 1876 CC half made my week! I thought for sure it was a VF35 with a shot at XF-40 -
So I'm very pleased with XF-45. I bought it raw here on the BST.

I think I see your fingertips reflecting on that Trade $, cool. Very Proofylike.
Nice grades. Those pestering hairlines (if that's the case) can hid from you, especially when the coin looks that good. You tend to get blinded a little. That happened with me once on a mid-AU Capped Bust Half with darker grey/green toning.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
<< <i>You have a good eye!! I think you did well. The Genuine bothers me. I see nothing wrong. >>
Yeah, It looks really clean to me. I thought maybe even MS61.
The two Carson City results confirm what I have experienced in the past with submission results.
They are just a bit more generous with their grades on CC pieces.

Congrats.
If it is... I'll take that gennie off your hands.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
<< <i>No kidding.....don't let keets see this thread
I have no hard feelings towards Keets. He's just speaking his mind.
But it does sound like summer needs to get here a little quicker for him so he can step away from the keyboard
for a while.
I would love to have a conversation with the graders on that 1859. I just don't see the hairlines and I looked
really close after getting that one home. Do I understand correctly that there is now a "digital image" of that coin
so re-submitting it would be a waste of time & money?

U.S. Type Set
jump up and down and scream original either. Looks like secondary toning. Might have been cleaned with a light abrasive, or perhaps a chemical cleaning.
Something tells me it just might have hairlines, which they usually slab anyway. But things have changed a bit.
