Doubled Die experts? 1997 Lincoln DDO

I have what may be a doubled ear 1997 lincoln. Is it normal for the doubling to appear stronger looking at different angles? I'm not too up to date on the class VIII ones.

Help us out with a photo, if at all possible.
Also, I've been into varieties for a long time now. One thing I've learned is that if it doesn't match the photo in the book exactly, it probably isn't what I think it is. I've found that the more I have to make myself think it is something, it probably isn't (and believe me- we ALL do that).
That's certainly not saying that I doubt you have a doubled-ear 1997 Lincoln- that's a cool variety, and one that probably looks strong at any angle. The newest CPG says they don't believe it's a DDO, but it has to be some sort of variety, as there are multiples of it in existence...
They pics I was looking at was These.
I'm pretty sure it isn't the one shown, but am thinking it could be a different one. The only exp i have with DDs is a Columbia 10c i used to own 20 years ago and a ton of shelf doubling, so i do know what that looks like. And I'm using a 10x loupe.
EDIT - It's out of 1703 pennys they had in a big jar here. I went through them all to see what was there lol.

They have been disputing this DDO as a "well placed die chip" ever since it was added to the guide. Doubling is actually not restricted to the earlobe, though it is the most prominent affected area. Ken Potter shows an additional 15 or so areas of doubling. A cool DDO in my opinion.

Exactly- I don't agree w/them... very similar to a lot of the "modern" DDO's in that it's mostly at the center of the die... what else could it be?
