A good way to identify and cope with forum trolls

Use the search feature and enter a suspected trolls forum name where it says author, enter the amount of days you want to search, and click US coin forum as the place to look. Leave everything else blank and click search. All the threads they have posted on in the time frame you selected will pop up.

You will see that every post they make about anyone and everything is ugly negative. Therefore don't take what they say personally if they crap you out, feel sorry for them that the only person left for them to talk to in life is their computer.

My reason for posting this? It gets too confrontational for some of the talented guys to comment here and they leave, or after they lurk for a while decide there is no point in joining in. A lot of great talent just drives by and NEVER EVEN PULLS IN!

Just did what you suggested and I have no posts since 2006.

The mods are doing much better weeding out sock puppets and alternate IDs. While there are still more than a few jerks around, they are fewer than they used to be, and they are less active than they used to be.
