What Joakim Noah just doesn't get.

In a word, Humility. He has no idea at all.

So I'm looking at some stuff online today and caught a quick blip of Noah talking trash, as usual. The guy is a very fine player with a lot of talent and it's hard to figure out why he's so stuck on being jealous of LeBron James. It's silly, really. Instead of being grateful for the talent he has the guy gets himself all wrapped up in talking badly about any opponent that beats him, their city and probably their Mother behind closed doors!! Not a clue, not a bit of appreciation for the talent he has and the "Where" that it came from. Instead, he loses his edge in the battle against himself.

Noah should just face the truth that he's a good but not great player. Jealous of LB and actually thinking he can carry the man's jock-strap is a waste of time. When you think about it, 99.99% of the people who touch a basketball aren't as good as James, and LeBron knows that...................just as he knows that he has a gift that came from somewhere outside of himself. That's the true understanding of Humility and Joakim Noah would be a better player(as well as a better person) if he could acknowledge that and get on with things.

Oh, BTW, Cavs in Five!!image

well unsurprisingly you're likely only getting the Cleveland media's spin on the alleged trash-talk. They took what Noah said out of context for starters. He was asked what he thought of the Cleveland fans chanting "you suck" to him...and he said, "well they (Cleveland fans) suck too". Immature sure...but Cavs fans should be used to that from their "King"...Lebron the king of sore losers - nah I'm not shaking their hands James. Besides that, no room for James or Cavs fans to be upset over anything considering the Cavs idiotic choreographed dances and intros showing up other players and teams. Yep tons of humility on that squad.

His father [who was a gifted tennis player back in the day who had his own "Attitude"].

Joakim needs to get a shave and a haircut IMHO. His wild hair and his facial hair make an already unattractive mug,..............worse.

However, even if he does not shave and get a haircut, he still probably has groupies in every NBA City anxious to spend a little time with him.

I thought what he said was hilarious...and true...I wish more athletes spoke their minds. And not backing down from the comments actually made me a fan of his - and I disliked him before.

I think it's pretty funny too. The Bulls are such freakin underdogs in this series, why shouldn't the guy talk some smack about the town?
  • also gonna side with Noah on this one.
  • His father was one heck of a tennis player.

Agreed 100%. I still don't really like him, but his comments were funny and on point. Have you guys actually been to Cleveland?
