Is it just me or does it seem like theres more 1887-P's with all kinds of different beautiful toning than any other year? Is there some reason this particular year stands out?

    Thousands of 1887 mint bags were released in the 1960s.

    I hadn't noticed. image 87 was a pretty good year for toners.
