    This date has been heavily counterfeited. Don't buy raw from anyone other than a reputable dealer.

    All of his coins have the same overall look to the rims/edging.

    Definitely fake, but if the posted weight is correct, at least it has the right
    amount of gold in it.

    Most gold dollar fakes have the full weight and fineness of gold since the numismatic value is much higher than the melt value.

    I wonder if his crappy pics are intentional to make it difficult to evaluate the authenticity of his coin.
