I'm hoping someone out there can provide some assistance. I found this coin among many in my late Dad's estate. I can't find out anything about it. Any assistance would be very appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance and have a great day! Ray

Yes, it's a silver jeton from France. I'll look it up and see if it's listed in Mitchiner's book for more detailed info.
Ok, here's what the Mitchiner book has on that one -
Obverse - Louis XVI, facing right (not signed by engraver)
Reverse - Peace, holding olive branch, standing beside a seated soldier (Mars), armed with helmet, spear and shield.
exergue reads Extraordinaire des guerres (extraordinary wars) 1777
silver, die axes at 6 o'clock: 7.75 grams and 28mm ; Feuardent number 899
Hope that helps!
