PM question?

I have a board member who PM'd me about a few cards and it appears that I am not able to get a PM to him. Does this sound correct and does the member just need to turn on his PM? Thank you for the answers in advance.

    Mickey,
    That would be my first guess. Especially if he/she is new. I know I didn't realize PMs had to be turned on when I started.
