Question For The Numismatic Guru's

Have any coins ever been minted where the reverse of the coin has the FOLLOWING year?
The reverse die has to actually be different, such as different fonts or some other trait, not just a die that was run through from year to year.

Heres a coin thats not well known.
It's a 1988-P Lincoln Cent with a 1989 Reverse RDV-006
The correct and normal reverse for the 1988 is RDV-005 which has different fonts. The designers initials are completely different.
<< <i>Of course there's the 1853 over 1854 quarter. Now how could that possibly be ?

My theory on this is that in either very late 1853 or very early 1854 the Coiner found that he had a perfectly good With Rays reverse die on hand, but no more 1853-dated obverse dies to use it with. The engraving department was only making 1854-dated dies, so he had them take an already prepared 1854 die and backdate it to0 1853.
Just a WAG.
