Stopped by the Strongsville Ohio Vintage Show today...
Great seeing an almost exclusive vintage only show. About 10 minutes from home, which is even better! As far as what I collect....pre-1955 graded football...not much to be found. Stopped by SGC talked a little with Brian Dwyer. PSA and Beckett were there too. Had one great pick-up. Bought a PSA 7 1953 Bowman Marion Motley for $150. Real Tough card to find...especially in 6 and up.
Does anyone know what the pop report on a PSA 7 53 Motley is?
Anyone else stop by? Any good finds?

The Motley in a PSA 7 has a current pop of 28, and a 12 in PSA 8.

Picked it up along with a bunch of nicely centered commons that will probably go in to PSA in the next couple of months.
T222's PSA 1 or better
It sounds like everyone had some nice finds at the show. Wish I could have been there.

Congratulations on your pickup of a 1953 Bowman Marion Motley. According to VCP, I can see that it's been almost 3 years since one has publicly sold - with a similar story for PSA 8 and PSA 9. Tough card!
I've found that buying a card in-person at a show produces a better memory than a remote buying transaction. It's something that makes me feel more attached to a card because I remember the seller, the feel of the show, maybe even some negotiation.
A "vintage-themed" card show. Mega-cool.
