Are these 2 cards considered Jeter rookie cards

Are these 2 cards of Derek Jeter considered rookie cards of his. It says rookie on each card but one is from 1996 and the other is from 1994. The gold leaf rookie is a 1996 Leaf card while the Collector Choice is a 194 upper deck.

    No, only his 1993 cards are considered rookie cards
