I've had my eye on it and decided to forgo the additions to the George III series in favor of the conders. Really, I'd like to build the Georges up so that the coin of the realm can stand in contrast for the Evasions and Counterfeits - but I've got to have tokens to tinker with
Just last month I picked up an extremely worn but still clearly readable example of this token from a coin club auction lot described as "fifteen old but interesting copper coins". Averaging out the price per coin, I paid a grand total of 27 cents for it.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one. Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"
I've been helping my 10 year old with fractions. I'm pretty sure the decimal point would shift a couple of spaces for this one. I love the surprise of the find though - no matter how featureless, bent or altered by time.
