hmmmm, interesting....

just got feedback from two recent sellers I bought from and both have been discussed in great detail on these boards.

1) memorylaneinc - I'm assuming this is the same memorylane that runs the big auctions

2) Candiman11 - the seller that sells raw vintage with far away pictures without much detail (the one that sold me the Seaver Rookie, which turned out to be good, but has had several sketchy transactions) not to mention he ships extremely slow.

Anyway, the feedback was left at the same time after I left feedback for both of them. Take a look.

hmmmmm........

Dunno....maybe that is a standard reply from a program that leaves feedback automatically after you leave them one? Not quite sure that is conclusive that it is the same person/company?

yeah, could be, but I assume you have to tell the program what to say. Maybe I'm reaching, just thought it was very odd.

I was looking at both of their feedback left for others....they appear to be randomized, but I can't look at it too much in detail because I am at work......if you can compare both of their feedbacks left for others, see if you notice that it is the exact same feedbacks, just randomized? If that is the case, it is probably a automatic feedback program?

Looking at each of their "Feedback left for others", they have at least 3 exact matching feebacks. So yeah, either they are using some sort of feeback software, they are the same person, or one is imitating the other.

Put away the rope and go to yahoo or google and search for the phrase, Thank you for an easy, pleasant transaction. Excellent buyer. A++++++

It's a default message in one of the automatic feedback leaving tools.

Do you mean to say that bigtime dealer might have created another account to sell raw only onto unsuspecting buyers that think they're buying cards that haven't been rejected by a grading company? I refuse to believe this. REFUSE!
  • they are close but not exactly the same... one has a period after the ++++'s and the other doesn't... also one has a space between transaction.Excellent and the other doesn't....

When I first started on eBay I just copied feedback others left for me and used that for others...

You got lucky buying from cuznbutch, make sure you dont do it again. That guy is a POS. Back before paypal took the worry out of buying from dirtbags he sold me a 1972 set as EX, but when i got it it was VG at best with 4 or 5 of the stars having staples still in them. When I emailed him about it he basically told me too bad.

Edited to correct the grades I assessed.

thanks for the info. I am actually quite pleased with the Palmer for the price I paid. I'll probably send it in on the special if I can scrape up enough or piggyback with someone.

I don't doubt this is just a case of coincidence, but many of the big slab sellers DEFINITELY have created alt selling accounts to unload their raw ungradables.

Come on you know all those alts are YOU! Nice Try "Lee." You have alts everywhere (PSA, Ebay, everywhere) and we know it.

I could care less about you or your imaginary son, I just dont like alts. At least you did not dispute the fact that you are the banned (multiple times now) member Mintacular who called out PSA's president Joe Orlando in a public thread.
