This is why after 7-8 days I send a request to cancel transaction instead of a non-payer warning. If they want the item they will respond and pay, if not theey will cancel (and they probably didn't want the item anyway, so good to not have to deal with the feedback/return/claim issues that could arise)

I'd consider sending him a 1988 Fleer Dave Winfield PSA 7, or something like that. What can it hurt? You're going to get the neg removed anyway, and you get the satisfaction of taking his money and really sending him to the moon at the same time.
  • If it was me I would not complete the deal, not because of his threats but just so he would not get the cards he originally wanted.

What is the buyer's ID? I wish to block them.

I am currently waiting on payment from someone who purchases $500-$700 auto cards but can't send me payment on a 20 dollar card LOL.

If heck were to freeze over right now, I would send the cards.

NEVER try to rehab a busted EBAY deal.

    ............

Talk to five different EBAY CS-monkeys and you will get five
different "answers" as to what constitutes "FB extortion."

"...because i filed this warning that no matter what he was going to leave me negative feedback...."

Objectively, there are ZERO elements of FB-extortion in that
    statement.

    ..................

Whatever you decide, you should prolly put the "buyer" on
    your blocked-bidder list now.

The guy has problems with some sellers AND invokes "GOD" in his FB.

    FB left for sellers

    .............

In 12-years+, I have dealt with well over 1000 individual sellers
and NEVER left a NEG. (I did NEG a thieving buyer, once.)

This guy is a real tool...a very slow payer and I believe he has more than one ebay IDs too. Very slow payer and ironically he uses religion in all his feedbacks even though he acts like a total jerk. I wouldn't hold my breath expecting payment...he may pay in 10 days, maybe 20...he likes to take a long time to pay. Frankly I wouldn't deal with him, period.

I filed a NPB and the buyer respond. After a week he emailed asking to mail payment. He still never canceled the NPB, or left feedback so I followed up on the NPB got my ebay FV fees back and I guess he got an unpaid item strike

Good luck, Terry...just remember to use DC when you ship also.

I don't get it. I haven't sold on Ebay in a couple of years... started again recently. I am used to buyers paying right after the auction ends, but people are waiting 2-3 days... even for $3-4 items. What the f is wrong with people?
  • Their bust!! LOL

well i got my negatives from this guy today and just as i figured ebay said it cannot remove the feedback because i did not respond back to the buyer when he said he was going to leave me a negative...now i have been on ebay 10 years and never had this problem unreal also the buyer tried to file a claim with paypal saying he didnt get the cards and i gave them proof and they removed his claim...i mailed them the day i got payment...ebay just sucks and i dont care anymore so my feedback went from 100% to 96 on one bozo

strom this is my fault for even listening to ebay about them removing this you were right on when you said you get 5 different replys from 5 different people...they are now telling me to ask the buyer to remove the feedback and basically kiss him...this ebay really stinks now...maybe i will just open up a new account its sad that the buyers have all the power...the funny part is the buyer claimed he didnt get the cards when i give them proof he did paypal siding with me but ebay says the buyer can leave that if he would like...this guy is just scum...imageimageimage

Why did you file a NPB after 5 days? That's jumping the gun....
  • If someone can't pay, or even get in contact with the seller within 5 days then filing the NPB is perfectly fine and exactly what ebay sets as its terms. The buyer was/is a POS and unforunately a much more common experience on the bay.

He is a real dirtbag. On the bright side, one negative from a moron like this one won't affect your auctions, so I'd respond as Storm said and move on. Maybe get his home # and place a few late night calls!

agreed. If i dont recieve payment within 7 days, i will email the buyer first BEFORE filing a NPB claim. I have yet to have any problems.

That said, the buyer is still scum for leaving a neg.

I agree, I don't even bother sending the buyer a reminder until till like day 9 or 10, and the earliest I have ever filed a NPB report is like Day 13 or 14. but thats just me, JMHO
