how does one add forum friends?

    According to Help:
    Add Buddy
    If the Administrator has enabled the Buddy List feature, and you have enabled it in the Customize area, then you can add "Buddy's" to your list here. Once added, they will appear in a floating window, "The Buddy List".

    I'm assuming it takes a request to the admin?
