Error in the 2010 Redbook!

I found an error (can't decide if it's a DDO or just plate shift doubling, just kidding) in the 2010 Redbook. On page 229, it has pictures of the 8 presidential dollars produced between 2008 and 2009. However, on the bottom where it lists Harrison, Tyler, Polk and Taylor, they are listed as 2008 like the four above them. Are there any more errors in this book (besides the coin values listed in the book)image

Ehhh, just a imple type-o. Note worth much of a premium. Kinda like a die chip commonly found on the 1950s Lincoln Cents. Now, if you found, say pages 228 and 229 printed over each other (or even on off centered page), then you might have something worth speaking of.

That typo was reported to Ken Bressett and should be corrected in the issue due out shortly.

FWIW, every year I take a new Redbook and copy edit it for errors, and send it to Ken. If you see any errors, which are inevitable, in the new edition, send me a direct and I will make note of it in my corrections copy.

The newest Red Book I have is the 2006 edition. Don't know if this typo has been corrected:

The mintage for the 1872-S Seated Liberty dollar is listed as 9,000 proofs and 275 business strikes. But that, I think, was supposed to be 9,000 business strikes and $275 in the lowest grade (all numbers in the row incorrectly shifted one place to the left).
  • The 2011 book has it right.
I think this error was reported on this forum many months ago.
