WTB...qty of 1969 topps Royals rookies #49 Steve Jones/ E Rodriguez

Long story short....I was at a Nationals/Cardinals spring game and the gentleman I sat next to turned out to be Steve Jones who pitched in the 60s-70s. He was proud to bring it up and when I asked if he had a card, he pulled out a taped up copy of his only card...1969 topps #49. I thought it would be great if I could accumulate a small quantity of the card and send them to him to share with his family as well as have some better copies for himself. Id love to find someone with at least a few of them they would like to move reasonable. Shoot me a PM if you can help.

When you are purchasing them, just remember that there is a variation on that card. I believe one has a premium, but not positive. One has the name "rodriGuez and the other "rodriQuez".

Yes...I saw that there is a variation that brings money. I am looking for the cheaper one if anyone can help.
