    nice Jeters; congrats on your grades. I'm not sure how any of those Heritage cards got 10s, though - the '01 is at least a little close on centering (L/R - within tolerance?), but the '08 base and '09 refractors have no business in 10 slabs - the T/B centering on both are way off.

    edit: and please understand - my intention isn't to rain on your parade. I'm no grading expert by any stretch of the imagination. Having said that, even to me, the centering really jumps out on the '08 and '09 Heritage cards. The '10 is truly a beauty - I think Topps did a much better job of releasing centered cards this year.

    I agree the 01 and 08 is off and not perfectly centered. The 2009 refractor is centered I know it is because I checked it. It appears off because the way it is in the slab and the scanner (optical scanned illusion you might say). If you held the card in your hand you would see its more centered then the scan shows it to be. I mentioned on my sub popped thread how I was surprised and happy the 01, 08 came back 10s I wasn't expecting 10s on them...

    Well I shouldn't show you this card because it looks off to me as well. Its from the same sub. I also was afraid of sending this in because I thought it would come back low grade, but I am no grading expert...
